This week, Off White charity auction took place in Moscow. It is held annually on the initiative of the Cosmoscow International Contemporary Art Fair. This time, the proceeds of the fifth anniversary auction amounted to €172,000. All proceeds will go to the Cosmoscow Foundation for Contemporary Art, established in 2017.

One of the favorites of the auction was the work from the series “Polar Explorers” of our gallery’s artist — Alexey Martins. It was gone under the hammer for €8500, eight times higher than its lower estimate.

In 2018, the auction took place on the eve of the Cosmoscow International Contemporary Art Fair and in partnership with Phillips auction house. The curators of the auction were Leopold Thun and Alexey Maslyaev.
Special thanks to the founder of Cosmoscow Foundation for Contemporary Art, Margarita Pushkina, and Svetlana Marich, Phillips’s Worldwide Deputy Chairman.
